The job
The farm wanted off propane without replacing a dryer that works.
The SCW unit sits beside the dryer, and one duct carries the heat across.

What we built
- A grain dryer heat source with our chain grate stoker.
- Firebox, stoker and controls built in our shop in Headingley, Manitoba.
- A duct from the unit into the dryer.

The result
The tower dryer runs on wood pellets instead of propane, at about half the drying fuel cost.
