SCW designs and manufactures the complete biomass burner and feed systems that deliver high-quality hot gas into Boilersmith units. Our combustion chambers are optimized for thermal uniformity and minimum excess air, maintaining consistent boiler feed temperatures. We incorporate cyclonic ash removal, automated fuel metering, and oxygen trim controls to achieve peak efficiency—supporting Boilersmith boilers in reaching 83–87% thermal efficiency even with biomass.

Clean Emissions & Ease of Compliance

Pairing SCW’s combustion systems with Boilersmith boilers creates a turnkey, emissions-ready steam solution. Our boilers are CSA- and ASME-certified, and the biomass-side cyclones deliver excellent particulate control. Boilersmith’s wet-back and Scotch-Marine designs inherently allow easy access for cleaning and maintenance—maintaining performance and compliance with CEPA and provincial air regulations. SCW also provides full emissions documentation and stack testing support to assist with permitting in BC, Ontario, and Quebec.
